Although many students at ISU return to their hometowns during the summer months, campus continues to be a busy place throughout July. Summer II classes start on July 12, numerous camps are held throughout the month, and many other events and activities take place on campus and nearby within the month of July. Some of the most notable opportunities to experience why life is great in Terre Haute are highlighted below.
Crossroads Repertory Theater has four different productions which will be
running in July.
Ric Averill's Pixies, Kings, and Magical Things along with Mary Shelley's Frankstein are two of this month's featured productions. Also, additional performances of Neil Simon's The Sunshine Boys and Edmund White's Terre Haute will be produced on the Crossroads' stage located in the New Theater on the ISU campus at 540 North 7th Street in Terre Haute. On July 17, Indiana State University students, alumni, and friends will be
participating in the RAIN! The Ride Across Indiana is an opportunity for
cyclists of all skill levels to experience Indiana from a new perspective along
with more than 1,500 cyclists. While our running enthusiasts proudly wear their
shirts which say, “Run Like a Tree,” this is a great opportunity to “Ride Like a
Tree.” It's a great opportunity to show your Sycamore Pride from Terre Haute to
